　　這部片除了霸凌這個議題之外，還有一個性別議題包覆在其中。片中的柯羅莉亞和奧斯卡及其幾位友人，其實都算是社會中的魯蛇、邊緣人。但同樣是身為不得志的一群人，男性卻能時常擺出較高的姿態來指導、分析身為女性的柯羅莉亞。雖然這不是電影主要著墨的部分，但卻在一些平常的對話、或一些日常場合中出現，因而顯得有點刺人而令人分外警醒。也因此，一直到看完整部片之後，會不禁讓人想起，如果劇中的角色互換，霸凌者和被霸凌者的性別交換，這部片的主題還會這麼有說服力嗎？或許這也是導演想偷偷藏在其中給人思考的問題。

　 In addition to the subject of bullying, gender issue is discussed in this movie as well. Although, Gloria, Oscar, and their other male friends can be considered as losers or social outcasts, male characters can always teach or analyse Gloria in a patronising way like they were standing on a higher position. When this kind of scene appears in some normal conversations or some daily occasions frequently, it makes the audiences felt alert and bitter, even this subject is not the main theme in the movie. As a consequence, these scenes would lead audiences to think that if the bully and victim switched their gender, the subject of bullying would still be so compelling or not in the story. Perhaps, this is the other question that director means to leave for audiences.
